Introduction

"Fairy tale meadows" is the first publication by a German climber. .

Raikot Bridge
The Eastern dusty road from KKH to Nanga Parbat leads to several scenic places. The jeep turns towards higher altitude and a narrow jeep track is hair raising and after crossing Raikot Bridge eventually leads to a small village Tato. From here you will either hike or ride on the horse to the legendary place Fairy Meadows..

Beyal Camp

A soft horse ride for two to three hours through dense prime forest and birch trees along shalow streams is most picturesque and remain memorable. The Beyal Camp is a summer settlement of shepherds with stunning view of Nanga Parbat. A small rest and light lunch and then horse ride will take you to the Beyal Camp for a night to rest in huts.

Fairy Meadows
An easy ride back about two hours brings you to Fairy Meadows to have a camp fire dinner and a final night in huts

Tato Village
Ride back about two to three hours on your horse up to the village Tato. Then you will have a seat in the jeep and a well deserving comfortable jeep trek brings you to Raikot Bridge.
